Justin Did an AMAZING Job on Cross Examination
This is long but worth it... I don't even know where to begin. I just finished a long contested divorce that ended in a trial. Not only was my ex looking to cripple me financially, she wanted majority custody of our daughter.
Justin was recommended, and I gave him a shot even though I was primarily looking for a female attorney to represent me. Justin sold me from the first meeting and I was in. He gave it to me straight and didn't feed me all these lies and false promises. I gotta be honest and say it was a slight turn-off that he also practiced criminal law as I assumed having someone who solely worked family law would serve me best. Of course, I was wrong! Not to mention, I was being accused of some pretty egregious stuff (some criminal/lies), so who better to represent me than a practicing criminal attorney as well.
Justin has been practicing a long time and is OLD SCHOOL. I don't think he believes in computers as he handwrites ALL his notes lol. At first, I thought to myself this guy is unorganized as I sat in his office and he had like 50 loose pages with handwritten notes scattered everywhere. Of course, I was WRONG AGAIN! That's just how he operates, and it works for him. Trust the process.
Fast forward to the week before trial. The amount of time this man put in for me was incredible. I almost thought to myself, ok Justin, I got this, stop calling/emailing me lol.
Day of trial... I am NOT exaggerating, Justin had eight, yes 8, large binders with my whole file. This man came ready for battle. He prepped for any and every angle the opposing counsel was going to come at me with. And to my surprise, these binders were NOT handwritten and actually typed :)
To sit there and hear things said about me from the stand was tough. Especially knowing they were fabricated. Justin did an AMAZING job on cross examination and destroyed every claim made.
Not going to go into all the details about the results of the trial but I will say I COULD NOT be happier. Most importantly, Justin helped me get 50/50 custody of my daughter which is all I ever wanted.
Justin's whole staff was great, but I MUST give a shout out to Courtney. She was amazing and helped Justin prep as well. Courtney knows her stuff!
